In a bout of insomniac boredom, a man decided to take a spin in his convertible through the woods in the early, summer morning. To his right, he began to see flashes of bright amber light. He thought it was odd because he knew the area well and knew there should be no reason for it as he was deep in the South West Michigan woods, and almost crashed his car in attempt to figure out what he was seeing.
Soon the man came to a tree that had fallen down in the middle of the road, forcing him to stop and turn around. He was stunned to see a strange humanoid creature now shuffling down the middle of the road towards the man. Something compelled him to turn off his headlights, perhaps because the creature itself was self-illuminated, and this would allow him to see the creature better.
It appeared to be about 8-feet tall, the man figured, as he himself was 6-foot tall and it appeared to be much taller than him. It was glowing a dull white light and making a horrible horse, groaning sound. It was skinny, almost impossibly so, as if any moment it would keel over dead from malnourishment. Its arms were long, down to its knees, and it also had a disproportionately long neck. It had wrinkled, worn skin that was pure white. The skin looked sickly, much like when a bandaged is removed and the skin is pale and wrinkled.
The face of the thing looked cartoonish, like a jack-o-lantern; dark holes for eyes and a mouth that was too wide and crooked. The man, apparently seeing enough, flipped his lights back on and sped away from the scene. The man lamented that he regretted leaving so quickly, he felt that the creature might be sick and was slated for a slow death. But, what could the man have done? It would take a brave soul to figure that out.
It should be noted that the man worked for the military at the time. I only mention this because there seems to be a strong correlation between those involved with the military and strange, alien-like humanoid interactions.
